1. Who we are
XDMicrobotics ("we", "us") operates xdmicrobotics.com. This notice explains what personal data we collect through the site and what we do with it. For any privacy question, contact info@xdmicrobotics.com.
2. What we collect
Contact form. When you submit an enquiry we collect the name or company, business email, phone number, technology domain, project subject, your message and any file you attach. We collect this so we can respond to your enquiry.
Luna chat. Messages you type into Luna are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. Please do not enter personal, confidential or commercially sensitive information into the chat.
Stored in your browser. Your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your own browser. It never reaches our servers and is not used to identify you.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell personal data.
3. Why we may process your data
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and in our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries about our services.
4. Service providers
We use third parties to run the site, who process data only on our behalf:
- Netlify — website hosting and form delivery.
- FormSubmit — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Groq — generates Luna's responses.
- Google Fonts — serves the site's typefaces; your browser requests these directly.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept while we are in contact with you and for as long as needed for our business records. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@xdmicrobotics.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and enquiries are delivered to a controlled mailbox. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive technical material until a confidentiality agreement is in place.
8. Children
This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this notice. The current version is the one published here, with the date shown above.
